Saying goodbye to our pets can be incredibly difficult. I tried to grapple with the beauty that is the human-animal relationship and the tragedy that comes at the end of this relationship. This story follows a boy and his cat, giving us a flashback to when they first met and watching each other grow up. Finally, we learn that his cat is not feeling well, and he is using music as a way to say goodbye to his cat. This is inspired by the John Lennon song "Beautiful Boy".
